@_@...so many days of looking at yellows, oranges, pinks, and reds...at ALL the colors that drive me insane. So why was I working with these insanely bright colors? Good question...
Well, I'm still working with the same media--colored pencils with acrylic touch ups (the transparent frills and the pretty white dots). Geez, even though I took the pic into Photoshop, the colors are still not quite true to the original...Hmm, maybe I should try a CG next... I was inspired by Zashiki Warashi's design, from xxxHolic. The girl is NOT her, by the way. She's actually just a random daffodil nymph ^^ I've always wanted to draw a girl with that hairstyle in a flowing kimono. ...and fear not, Pink Turtle and Joan, I definately am working on the art trades. I want to draw as much as I can before school starts! (This is the part where I jump up and pump my fist into the air while shouting "GANBATTE!!!!!" XD) |

It is simply beautiful, and your attention to detail is commendable. I know I could never work on something like this, and pull off such a complete looking piece. An absolute favorite.
