Oh my…

Well, a major milestone of life has just gone by—high school graduation. It’s been a long road so far, and we’re just barely getting started. Real life lies beyond the shelter of juvenile years. I’d like to advance with no regrets and with my important relationships intact. And now—at the risk of sounding cliché—I’m off to bigger and better things. I’d like to think I’ve matured, but perhaps I’m assuming too much. High school graduation holds more sway in the eyes of society than it does internal workings—so, yeah…who knows u__u

So come fall this year, I’ll be a college bum…>.< Until then, though, I’d like to enjoy myself a little more

There are still many things I want to experiment with. I want to try drawing my own manga (which should emerge out of its fledgling state sooner or later ;;;;; ), and I want to try drawing different things other than characters floating in midair. I also want to expand my repertoire beyond colored pencils and dry media of the graphite and ink variety to watercolors and digital art.

Furthermore, I want to do commissions over the summer, since I’ll be swamped with free time, and I’ve been in a drawing mood recently as evidenced by my spammage of your inboxes with pictures.

Head-shot / chibi (superdeformed character) - $5

For traditional media:
1) For head-shots / chibis, colored head-shots / chibis, and sketches, you may KEEP the original. Shipping and handling is $5.
2) For the linearts, monochromes / limited palettes, and the full colors, you will receive a 300 dpi JPEG file with no additional cost.
OR you may request an 8’’ by 10’’ print for $5 (in addition to the baseline cost and the cost for shipping and handling).
OR you may request the originals for $15 (in addition to the baseline cost and the cost for shipping and handling).
3) I like to work with computer-paper size (8.5’’ by 11’’, give or take, more or less), so commissions that cost up to the full color prices listed above will come in that size or around it.
4) If you want your picture any bigger or any more elaborate (e.g. complicated and detailed backgrounds), the prices will increase. We will negotiate prices.

For digital media:

Well, I specialize in the anime / manga style (obvious from looking at my gallery). I don't particularly like drawing mecha and buildings/cityscapes, but I will try my best with them. I'll try to draw within a broad a range as possible.

I will draw fanart and original characters.

I will draw shounen ai and shoujo ai.

THE FORMAT:
1) Please include your email address.
2) State the commission type (e.g. traditional (watercolor) / headshot, or digital / monochrome, etc.)
3) Include details of what you would like me to draw and, if possible, reference pictures.
4) Include your mailing address (if you commission a traditional piece from me OR if you desire a print of your digital commission).
5) State whether you will allow me to post the image on my deviantART gallery.

If you would like to make any changes at all, and if I am still in the process of working on your commission, then please note me so that I may accommodate your changes appropriately. For changes, make sure the title / subject of the note is “Commission / Change.”

**** NOTE: For the moment, I will only be taking commissions from those residing in the United States.

4) I reserve all rights to the commission image. You may NOT market the commission image. You may NOT make profit on the commission image.
5) I hold no rights over fanart characters. HOWEVER, even if you have asked for a fanart, you still may NOT market the commission image. You still may NOT make profit on the commission image.
6) IN SHORT, please respect the artist who draws the stuff for you.
